    c. Use a caliper or measuring tape to measure the inside diameter of the barrel at this point. Ensure the measurement is taken across the center, perpendicular to the barrel’s axis.
  2. Rod Diameter: The rod diameter refers to the diameter of the piston rod extending from the cylinder. To measure it, follow these steps:
    a. Extend the piston rod fully from the cylinder, if possible, without applying excessive force.
    b. Measure the diameter of the rod using a caliper or measuring tape. Ensure that the measurement is taken across the center of the rod.
