Usage Method Of Barge Split Cylinder:

  1. Installation:
  • Begin by ensuring a secure and stable foundation for the barge or vessel.
  • Position the barge split cylinder in the desired location on the barge, ensuring proper alignment with the load or material to be handled.
  • Securely attach the cylinder using the appropriate mounting hardware and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for torque specifications.

How To Remove Hydraulic Cylinder From Chair?

To remove a hydraulic cylinder from a chair, you will need a few essential tools and follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Gather the necessary tools:
    • Adjustable wrench or pipe wrench
    • Rubber mallet or hammer
    • Screwdriver (if required)
  2. Prepare the work area:
    • Ensure you have a clean and well-lit space to work.
    • Place a cloth or protective covering on the floor to prevent damage to the chair or the surrounding area.
  3. Locate the attachment points:
    • Examine the chair to identify the attachment points of the hydraulic cylinder. These are typically located underneath the seat portion of the chair.
    • Look for any covers or protective caps that may be hiding the attachment points.
  4. Remove any covers or caps:
    • If there are any covers or caps over the attachment points, use a screwdriver or your fingers to remove them.
    • Set the covers or caps aside in a safe place.
  5. Loosen the retaining nut:
    • Use an adjustable wrench or pipe wrench to grip the retaining nut at the top of the hydraulic cylinder.
    • Turn the wrench counterclockwise to loosen the nut.
    • Note that some chairs may have a retaining clip instead of a nut. In such cases, you may need to remove the clip using pliers or a screwdriver.
  6. Remove the cylinder from the chair base:
    • After loosening the retaining nut, firmly grasp the chair seat with one hand to stabilize it.
    • With your other hand, firmly grip the top portion of the hydraulic cylinder.
    • Apply upward force while twisting and pulling the cylinder to separate it from the chair base.
    • If the cylinder is stuck, you can tap it gently with a rubber mallet or hammer to help loosen it.
  7. Inspect and clean:
    • Once the hydraulic cylinder is removed, inspect it for any signs of damage or wear.
    • Clean the cylinder and the chair base using a cloth or mild cleaning solution if necessary.
    • Check the attachment points on the chair to ensure they are clean and free from debris.
